Tractional and torsional deformation

Contexte et objectifs
An expert laboratory recognized in materials mechanics field wanted to equip itself with a system capable of measuring with less than a micron precision , simultaneously, deformations undergone by a metal tube during a traction/torsion test at a 10Hz frequency.

Solution
To meet this request we installed FVX02 version of VideoTraction allowing measurement of two greatnesse simultaneously.
Equipped with a fast camera (200Hz), the camera-lens-LED lighting assembly was integrated into an MTS brand hydraulic traction machine.
The objective of the system was therefore to be able to detect targets on the metallic or polymer sample while overcoming reverberation problems, to be able to measure a tensile deformation simultaneously with torsion angle in an industrial environment at a 10Hz frequency
test.
The VideoTraction FVX02 system perfectly met all of the customer's expectations.
