Characterisation of polymers in university laboratories

Contexte et objectifs
A university research laboratory in Lorraine specialising in mechanics and energy, whose research is supported by leading-edge technology platforms.
To have a reliable, versatile solution for measuring deformation quickly and without damaging material, during different types of test: tensile, compression and fatigue.
Non-contact measurement of deformation and determination of volumetric deformation according to different stress paths, coupling with a thermal camera to take account temperature influence, control of the MTS hydraulic traction machine to impose regulation in terms of deformation or stress, coupling with the GOM/ARAMIS DIC system, etc.
Constraints
Integration with existing systems (MTS hydraulics) and perfect synchronisation of data (force, deformation, crosshead displacement), deformation and force control of the machine.

Solution
VidéoTraction version DEV meets these requirements.
