VideoTraction® is an innovative mechanical testing system based on real-time video camera monitoring of the deformed part of a specimen, and only this part.
Camera automatically searches for the maximum deformation zone of the material and measures true local strain, damage and/or cracking of samples subjected to applied stresses (mechanical, thermal, environmental, etc.).
The control software recovers all machine signals such as force, crosshead position and deformations from the video extensometer. It then offers user the possibility of easily carrying out all types of tests and in particular deformation control tests. True hydraulic testing machine control interface, it allows traction machine closed-loop control according to material response, according to a user-defined program.
