Necking-hourglass
The necking option of VideoTraction allows the user to overcome the problems of detecting the area to be measured.Indeed, on some materials (textiles, non-woven textiles, etc.) or type of samples (like band), the definition of the zone to be followed a priori is impossible.
To overcome this difficulty we have developed this version to measure the reduction in section or width of a strip type sample without prior marking of the sample.
The software automatically detects and tracks the area where the necking occurs and even more so breakage.
