longitudinal and transverse : XY
The biaxial XY version has been designed to simultaneously measure strains in both axial and transverse directions.It thus allows the user to obtain in a single test the various macro-mechanical data such as Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio.
Measurements are made in real time and the software sends the information directly to the manufacturer software. The two softwares are perfectly synchronized in terms of communication, which makes it possible to control the test based on the video measurement and therefore the regulation of deformation, for example.
