Shear option in the video extensometer range: Fundamental Video eXtensometer (FVX) allows non-contact, local and very precise measurement of the maximum and average shear rate.From markers put on sample surface that software automatically detects and will follow throughout the test, deformations are calculated with sub-pixel precision.
This information is sent to the software which controls machine to record and process synchronized data (e.g. force, shears, shear stress, etc.). The user also can save all of this data in FVX software and graphically view data evolution in real time.
Suitable for all types of materials, whether metallic or polymeric, and for all types of machines. As an option, ProViSys Engineering offers a high precision shear cell with a capacity of 50 kN, adapted to your machine.
